For almost 100 million years crocodilian species have thrived on earth. But in the last several decades many of the crocodilian species that once ruled our planet are now on the verge of extinction. AIDG’s Crocodile Conflict highlights the natural history of crocodiles, alligators, and documents the conflict between one of the world’s most dangerous predators and a growing human population. AIDG’s Crocodile Conflict is designed to capture the public’s attention through dramatic museum quality displays, graphics and an incredible live exhibit that will allow guests to get face to face with one of these prehistoric wonders both above and below the surface of the water. Guests young and old will have the opportunity to safely hold a young alligator creating a memory of a lifetime and a connection to care for these animals in conflict. Living component: This exhibit features a live salt water crocodile, or a Nile crocodile and a group of handlable juvenile American alligators for use in public programs. The exhibit animals are housed in an enclosed and environmentally controlled habitat. The habitat features both above and below water viewing of the animals. AIDG will train your staff how to care for the animals or for an additional fee AIDG will provide the husbandry staff. The dimension of the crocodile enclosure is: 14’ long X 8.5’ wide X 9.5’ high and weighs 8,000 lbs. (empty) and 25,000 lbs (with water).
